The dog who wouldn't be is about a dog who likes to act like a human. Like for instance climbing ladders. Some other crazy things he does include walking on the tops of fences, diving for crayfish, chasing skunks, and even insisting on wearing motor goggles in the car. This is Mutt a canine character whose extraordinary adventures are really doggone funny. Even though this book is about forty years old it is still a great and funny book.
